“ I finally had the chance to try the popular Uncle Zhou on a day they were open—and now I completely understand the hype. The food is clean, simple, and absolutely delicious. Of course, I had to try the diao xiao hand-drawn noodles, and they were a total game changer. Once you mix the sauce into the noodles, the flavors come alive and start to dance on your taste buds. The General Tso’s chicken and the beef with broccoli were solid, classic takes on those staple dishes—flavorful and satisfying. I was also impressed with the shrimp fried rice; the shrimp were generously sized and properly cleaned, which made a big difference. I'd definitely recommend Uncle Zhou to anyone looking for authentic, well-prepared Chinese food. It lives up to the buzz! ”
“ A getaway trip to Dallas and decided to try this highly recommended hand pulled noodles. We ordered Lamb and Beef hand pulled noodle and the texture is very good, the broth used is the same as the protein. Broth is healthy and good as they are not heavily salted. Good for health concerned individuals. Condiments are provided on table as well. The server is prompt, polite and attentive. The manager Yan Ting is very sweet, knowing we be driving back and give us some candy to eat along our way back. A restaurant that cares for their customers. Hard to come by and we will visit again to get their Henan Tradition and Award winning dishes. ”
“ Not having actually been to China, this place seems as if it is the real thing when it comes to authentic Hunan Chinese cuisine. The pulled noodles were a perfect consistency, served with small scissors, steaming hot and perfectly proportioned with bean spouts and vegetables. The dumplings were simple but perfectly steamed seasoned. My wife ordered the Orange Chicken and was not disappointed. Prices were reasonable and portions were good. The setting was basic, but fitting with the price and open kitchen layout of the restaurant. Certainly worth a try. The hand-pulled noodles are a must! ”

“ 8 of us came for lunch. Their POS system are down, they have to taking order by hand written orders and check. All three waitress are super busy and very minimal service provided. But we fully understand their difficulties and help ourselves with like water and eating utensils . All the items we ordered were very good, very tasty. We highly recommend the hand pull noodles, even now is made by a well trained Mexican lady! And many kitchen staff also Hispanic personnel!, and they are doing a wonderful job. Highly recommended! ”
“ Terrific hand pulled noddles spot in Plano and worth the drive from Dallas. They don't take reservation and we walked in on a Friday evening to a small line of people. There is no hostess and you have to put your name on a notepad. They turn over tables quickly so fortunately it was not a long wait. The wait staff moves quickly but yet manages to be warm. We tried the following Friend hand pulled noodles - 6/5 absolutely delicious. Will go back for this Scallion pancakes- 5/5/ one of the best we have had Pork dumplings - 4/5 good but not great Dragon eggplant - 3/5 this is a looker, but the sauce is too sweet and makes the tempura batter gooey. Will not order again There are the usual dishes from Americanized Chinese restaurants like General Tsao and Kung Pao, but I will encourage people to try things that they are less familiar with. This is a good place for that. We will definitely be back and try other hand cut noodle dishes. Highly recommended! ”
“ Uncle Zhou has been on my list to try for a while now and finally got a chance to stop by. I went for dinner around 5 on a Friday. It was not busy but I did notice is started getting busy around 6. I ordered the dial oil noodles and some chicken fried rice. The food came out pretty quickly. The noodles were delicious. Simple yet so good. The fried rice was good as well. I definitely want to return to try more items. Service was good and the people were nice. ”
“ I wanted to try the hand drawn noodles and the ratings look promising. Food was actually pretty good. We ordered the beef hand drawn noodles, land hand drawn noodles, the dial oil hand drawn noodles, scallion pancakes and pan fried dumplings. It's a pretty big portion. Place was pretty big. Great for small or large parties and service was good. Servers were attentive and food came out pretty fast. I'd come back and try some more. Menus was pretty big. Till then, let's eat!!! ”
